There are two web GUIs and two sets of credentials to access them. I will be using the Username and Password for Onkyo TX-RZ50 web GUI. One GUI allows you to configure all of the units settings, and the other only grants access to the network configuration of the unit. For those of you having trouble logging into the web interface (web GUI) of the Onkyo TX-RZ50 or any Onkyo product with a web interface (I’m sure it works the same). Here are the steps to get you to the web GUI you want:
Full Configuration Web GUI For Onkyo TX-RZ50, Or Any Onkyo Unit With A Web GUI
First find out the IP address of the unit. You can do this by looking in your router or where your DHCP service resides. If you don’t know how to do this, you will have to Google it. There are too many variations for me to cover. Then type the IP address of the unit into your web browser. You will be prompted with a log in window. Log in using the following credentials (default Username and Password for Onkyo TX-RZ50 web GUI) to access the units configuration and settings.
Username – ciuser
Password – ciuser
You should see this or something similar.
From this interface you can configure all of the units settings. For example speaker levels, crossovers, sources, etc. This interface is very useful for calibration using video media like a calibration DVD, Blu-Ray or video files. By using this interface you can calibrate, make adjustments and change settings on the fly. This makes callibration much easier and conviniant, because you dont have to leave the whats on the screen to acces the units onscreen menu.
Basic Network Web GUI
Log in using admin (other default Username and Password for Onkyo) as the username and password to be redirected to a very basic status page. This page only shows the systems status and the units network configuration settings. See below. Read more about this interface here.
Username – admin
