BIOS
In the BIOS:
- In “Power Management” -> “Low Power Mode” – make sure [enable Low Power Mode] is unchecked.
- In “Remote Wake Up” – make sure to select either [Enable] or [Enable with Boot to NIC]
- In “System Configuration” -> “Integrated NIC” – make sure to check [Enable with PXE]
Enable WoL start option for Windows 7 Computers.
Then enable WoL start option for Windows 7 Computers. Go to Device Manager -> Network Card Properties
On the Advanced tab, find “Enable PME” – make sure it is set to enable Enabled.
If WoL still not functioning try the following settings:
Device Manager -> Network Card Properties -> “Power Management” tab – make sure “Allow this device to wake the computer” is checked
Upgrading to a current or newer BIOS version from Dell may also resolve the issue.
